We recently acquired a buck from Open Hand Acres (Boaz). He had to be transported from Oregon to Maine. When committing to an animal sight unseen, communication is EVERYTHING. Leah was amazing at not only sending photos/updates but also her bookkeeping. She keeps very thorough notes on all of her animals…right down to when they moved pastures! Such a breath of fresh air to meet someone who is so organized and prioritizes the care and wellbeing of their animals. Boaz arrived healthy & is the absolute sweetest buck.
